I'm a video editor at a small wedding business, and most of our videographers shoot with HD MiniDV. I was using a camera for import that I no longer have access to. Now, I need to purchase something to import the tapes. I won't be doing ANY filming, only importing, so I'm looking for something on the cheap side, preferably light on features. Can anyone recommend a camera/alternative for importing the tapes?
Thanks in advance.

if they shoot "normal" 1440x1080 30i or a derivative(24f, 30p) in a 30i stream then a canon hv20/30/40 should do. if any shoot 720 60p or 1080 24p you may need the same cam as they use.
