Imgburn problem....Help

Im trying to bakup a dvd (its a maxwell dvd+r) ..about halfway thru the "create image from disk " i get "illegal mode for this track"...all other backups workfine with imgbrn so im lost...ive tried justcopying videots from pc , doesnt work...dvdfab, doesnt work....please help..here is the logfrm imgburn:

Possibly poor quality media, or the original DVD wasn't ripped properly. Also check the manufacturer for any firmware updates.

try just copying the video_ts folder to your hard drive and see what happens. dvds are just data discs and if it works you can write it back to dvdr.

right ive tried that it always stops bout halfway thru and bar turns red....i honestly believe its this certain media that my laptop hates

could be, ritek isn't very good at all. try it in a different computer is about all you can do.

Maxell is really bad quality media. The disc could be going bad. I'm not an expert at deciphering ImgBurn logs but it looks like you may have bad sectors on the disc.

Suggestions:
1) Try a different DVD drive on the same PC or a different PC. A different drive may have better luck.
2) You can install the free version of DVDFab Decrypter. My experience is that it will try forever to rip DVDs so if you can leave it running for a very long time, it may eventually get the entire disc.
3) See if the disc is scratched. We've had threads on what to do to polish discs including one within the last 7 days.
