this is a recording back in 92 it's the audio from a video file that came from a cam really close to the stage so the input is distorted

i wonder if with a good notch filter if i could isolate the annoying frequencies and make it a little bit softer and maybe limit the bass to make it more listenable

we played this song a few months after the album came out

you can try this out and tell me what you did and i'll try to emulate the results
i made a flac file from the original wave (Level=0)

lots of people here have really good results with less that good video files

hoping it can be done with audio too !!

Painful clipped recording dude. Oh my ears (oww) and you may have ruined my speakers.

I would try the freeware audio editor Audacity instead. It's liklely a lot more advanced than that application. But if the audio is badly clipped, there may not be anything you can do. This is with noise removal and a bit of bass boost. The voice part is severly distorted, probably not much can be done there. And since this is an audio question, moving to our audio forum.

you boosted the bass ?? ...ok i'll tried audacity (i hink it's kinda overrated)

you managed to give the vocals a little boost it's flangy i'll try again

i taught this was closer to restoration ( filtering and enhancing)
