FORMAT FACTORY 2.70 Installation Error

Hi folks,

I just tried to upgrade from Format Factory 2.60 to 2.70 and during executing the .exe file (Installation) I got this ERROR saying ...
"Error Opening File For Writing" ... and got this

"C:\Program Files(x86)\FreeTime\FormatFactory\FFModules\Filter s\ffdshow\ffdshow.ax"

I tried several times ... finally I chose to ignore and skipped this file and the installation went fine then and completed.

Q: Did anyone else get this Installation "ERROR" and Why!?!?

Hi folks,

I got my answer from Chen ... so here it goes for the next person who might run into this installtion problem ...

1) Make sure you have None of you Media Players ... playing ... Close VLC or whatever you use.

2) Uninstall the Old Version first, then install the New version!

The install of Format Factory 2.70 worked perfectly.
