should i recapture or crop with virtualdubmod is enough ?

i messed one capture with virtualdub i did a 576 height instead of 480 (712X576)

so i cropped the 96 lines with virtualdubmod (704X480)(not supposed to mess the colorspace)

the cropped sample is 3 samples into one is it still workable or should i recapture ?

what would you suggest with this one ?, colorwise : lots of reds

VirtualDubMod converts to RGB with the 601 matrix when you crop. Given that capture1.avi has a lot of video below Y=16 and above Y=235 you are going to lose those details by cropping in VirtualDub(Mod). The other clip looks like it has already been clamped.

With all the colored stage lighting it's hard to say what color corrections sample3in1.avi might need. Judging by the second shot this looks like a good starting point:
