I have a bunch of DVDs that I want to convert to a file playable on tv. I have a WD Media Hub it plays every file. I think Make MKV should do the trick since it plays .mkv files. Question will it lose sync? Is this the best file to play a dvd to file in? Thanks

The WD Media Hub supports VOB files so I would just rip the DVD's in file mode, there's no converting involved and no sync issues. Another benefit of ripping to VOB files is it retains all the menus and extras, the only downside is it uses more HDD space.

WDTV Live plays DVD ISOs with full menu. No need to convert anything. Just rip the DVD to the drive with your fave ripper as an ISO and that's it. I'm figuring the Hub will support the DVD ISOs as well. Check with IBOUM to make sure...
