My hardware hook up is V+ box to PVR via component/optical and PVR to PC via usb, and pc graphics card to home cinema amp and tv via hdmi.Windows 7 64 bit.

Right, all seems ready to roll here, PVR recognised as tuner, picture quality great of live TV within WMC, but i can't seem to record TV.

If i manual record via the button on WMC remote, i get directed to a screen offering record/don't record, i select record and yet my recordings folder remains empty.

As for recording via the guide, the GOLD (Hauppauge) channel guide is blank, it just reads no data available.

I've asked Hauppauge and they said they will look into it, but maybe someone has this set up and can tell me where i'm going wrong please?
