  1. Title says it all.

    If a non-DShow AC3/DTS decoder exists, I need it.

    Please help me.

The title says "encoder", the post itself says "decoder".

  5. try AZID for AC-3.

  6. Downloaded AZID, no idea how to install or use it. The .exe file just pops open in a CMD window momentarily and is gone.

    Same with ffmpeg.

  7. both are command line tools -> try to start them in a console and the will prompt some help infos,...
(if that doesn't help explain what you want to do more detailed and others might be able to help more properly)

  8. there is few GUI for ffmpeg - also command line is quite simple - i can assume that ffmpeg decoding works in that way:

    ffmpeg.exe -i filesource.ac3 filedecoded.wav

  9. as a side note: if you want to do downmixes i.e. from 1.5 to stereo: don't use ffmpeg on it's own (I prefer ffmpeg + sox)
