I was wondering if anyone has tried a System Reset on their LaCinema Classic HD. According to the manual http://www.lacie.com/download/manual/lacinema_classic_hd_en.pdf in section 10.5.7 "This feature allows you to reset the product to its factory defaults, erasing all files and reverting all settings"

Does anyone know if that is correct that a System Reset actually erases the contents of the HD? or does it simply reset the settings of the device to factory defaults leaving the data on the HD untouched? The manual seems to say everything is erased. However, I had read elsewhere that it does not affect the disk contents (unfortunately you have to be able to read French - http://www.homecinema-fr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1182&t=29932238&start=195 - Google translate doesn't work so well on it).

If you invoke the command on the device it says "System Reset: Are you sure you want to restore LaCinema Classic HD to factory settings?" . Not 100% convinced either way if that means it will completely erase the HD. I've cancelled out of that because I don't want to have to reload the HD with all the data I've put on there. So I'm wondering if anyone out there knows what the scoop is from actually doing it.
