VLC can play a DVD.iso file with menu's, but it can't play AVCHD iso's. IS there a player than can?

Maybe tmt. I don't think any free player has menu support.

Baldrick is correct that Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 3 can play an AVCHD .ISO, (and a Blu-ray .ISO as well) and it does it pretty well, too. JohnsO is also correct that TMT won't play the AVCHD .ISO directly. Just remember that first you have to mount the .ISO with a virtual drive like Daemon Tools or Virtual Clone Drive. Then it'll play fine, menus and all.
