Multiavchd like avchdcoder gives that error for mkv files when they have header stripping in audio. Solution = Get haali media splitter, install it and open gsdemux.exe from install dir. Then open file and demux/remux it to new file and header stripping is gone. Even tho 1 out of 50 times it still says header stripping when u check info with mediainfo, it still is doable with multiavchd.

I dont know if this is what youre looking for but it sounds like that. If you mean "how i can create dvd (from mkv or any other file)" use convertxtodvd. It's probably easiest way to convert anything like xvid/divx/mkv/mp4 etc to dvd format, ie. vob-files. Also gives you ability to add customized menu for your project.

about 90% of the time when i get that error, it's due to header compression (i'm assuming you are using .mkv). all you have to do is open the file in mkvmerge and then adjust the video and audio streams as necessary.

    VIDEO STREAM

    General track options:

    1. Track Name: (optional)
    2. Language: (optional, but i always choose "eng" for US/UK movies)
    3. Default Track Flag: yes
    4. Forced Track Flag: no

i've never used "tags" or "timecodes" so i just leave those blank

    Format specific options:

the only thing i ever concern myself with is "FPS" (frames per second). set this to the same FPS as your MKV (use MediaInfo if you aren't sure).

if your files is 23.976 FPS, then choose "24000/1001" in the drop-down box. if it is 29.97 FPS, then choose "30000/1001" in the drop-down box.

    Extra options:

    1. Compression: none (choose "none" in the drop-down box)

    AUDIO STREAM

    General track options:

    1. Track Name: (optional)
    2. Language: (choose the language of the audio stream)
    3. Default Track Flag: yes (if you have mnore than one audio stream, choose "yes" for the main audio stream and "no" for the other streams)
    4. Forced Track Flag: no (if more than one audio stream, then select "yes" for the main audio stream and "no" for the others

i've never used "tags" or "timecodes" so i just leave those blank

    Format specific options:

    no changes needed.

    Extra options:

    1. Compression: none (choose "none" in the drop-down box)

NOTE: if you have subtitle streams, you need to select "none" in the compression drop-down box (extra options) for each subtitle stream.

if that doesn't solve your problem, then it is most likely due to a corrupted audio stream. you can determine that by trying to open the file in tsMuxer. if there is an audio stream problem, tsMuxer will crash (or produce an error code...something about NAL units or something....i can't remember off the top of my head).

if that's the problem, then let me know.

i dont think my movie file is .mkv because when i put the file into the prgram it doesn't let me do know of that stuff you just said. i think my file is .m2ts
