    Hi All.

I'll explain the question in the subject line. I am not asking about using onboard graphics. What I am asking is, when using a separate graphics card, would it be better in any way at all to use a motherboard that does not have onboard graphics as opposed to using a motherboard that has onboard graphics (whether enabled or disabled) in BIOS? For example, even if onboard graphics are disabled, is it possible at all for any sort of conflict to take place or any other sort of problem to occur?

I understand that one advantage of having onboard graphics is that it can be used temporarily if the separate graphics card becomes faulty etc, which I found out all to well!

    Thanks.

  2. The onboard graphics is sucking up a little power, even if it's disabled. Other than that I've never seen a problem.
