Adding grain won't increase resolution but it might reduce posterization.

OK. That sounds interesting.
I have seen, though never used, AddGrain and GrainFactory3. Any recommendations or basic setup to start with them and see what they do? -
Well, I went through with the conversion. Didn't use the dehalo flter after all, as the image got too soft and the gain was very small.
Now I'm having some problems with DVDLab Pro to author it. Things load fine, but muxing stops after five minutes.
I tried authoring with TMPGEnc DVD author and DVDAuthorGUI, and things go fine. Unfortunately they are far from being as flexible as DLP in handling things, particularly subtitles.
Does anyone know something about DLP here?
