Hi everybody,
when i use mp4box to mux H264 and AAC together, mp4box automatically adds "encoded date" and "tagged date" entries to every stream in the file.
so the MediaInfo output of the resulted file looks like:

any help appreciated!

Hi
I don't think it's possible to prevent MP4Box from creating those date fields.
AtomicParsley has a "--metaEnema" option....
but it doesn't clear the "Encoded date" and "Tagged date" fields.
But if you run the file through FFmpeg it will clear them.
Use a command like this:-
Code:ffmpeg -i 001.mp4 -vcodec copy -acodec copy new001.mp4

I created and ran a batch file to process all the .mp4 files i have in ffmpeg(they are about 1700 files), surprisingly the size of the resulted set is bigger than the source in about 410MB.
Each file is about 0.25MB bigger than its source, and that is bugging me a little bit.
So, are there any unneeded headers that ffmpeg adds to the file by default and is there any switch to stop adding these headers?, please help! -
Please help me,I don't want to post my problem elsewhere.
What is going on, how is the resulted file bigger than the source file?!
