    Hi there,
I tried editing an .avi with h264-content video, using ffdshow (tryouts rev3771) with smart rendering option in VDub 1.9.9 ( I have done this before successfully, but for some reason on this installation (about 10 days ago a clean Windows 7 Ultimate) ffdshow's option in the "Encoder" - tab remains empty for all mpeg4 options (XViD, h264, h263; cf. attachment).
    I used Win7DSFilterTweaker to
    - first turn off all default options
    - then turn them on again. To no avail. Could it be the ffdshow version I use?

Does anyone have a clue - or could point me to the right place, where this question has been answered?
    Thanks!

See the thread "Why most encoders in ffdshow have been removed?"
