  1. All this video rendering stuff is really confusing me..

So first you start a new project with the properties of what you recorded in for best results, right?

I match my new project settings to the video file off of my raw HF20 footage. Ok, no problem.

But what the hell do I render in to get 1080 settings. I know 1920 x 1080, etc.. but what should I render in and what settings? WMV? ( I do and the colors washed out and rips during movement ) MP4? I heard about h.264 but what settings would make the video look best? What settings after that? target bitrate? CBR/VBR?, etc.. Could someone give me some tips or is there an absolute sure way to find out the optimum rendering settings?
