    I've been looking nonstop for about 6 hours on how to extract the audio from DUal AC3 audio avi files and FINALLY!!! This topic helped me finally achieve my goal.. I will now at least be able to tell the wife i did it.. my stubborness paid off again.. even at 3 in the morning Thanks guys!! Graphedit is sweet once you get it explained a little..

    Media Twins makes a nice, 1 step and batch capable AC3 decoder that will take an AC3 file and convert it to anything you want (WAV,MP3,OGG,WMA...). Get it here.[/url]

    goldwave is best for your problem, download it in the tools section...its real easy to use, just load the file, then "save as" - .wav...it does it all for you
