Hi folks.
I have Comcast/Xfinity as my cable provider and a Scientific Atlanta 4250HDC STB. I tried the steps at
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=403695
and the tray application would stop responding and quit. Those steps are for XP.
How do I get this working on Windows 7?
I know the Firewire port on the STB is working, because I can capture just fine with my mac to an m2t file.

I just found out, there are no 64 bit drivers for Windows.
Ugh, that's why I (usually) use a Mac. -
It works great with 32bit Windows7/Vista/XP

The problem with OSX is Apple software wants to convert everything to DV, AIC or yech iMovie 960x540 30p.
Windows editors are happy with native MPeg2 TS/PS streams.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
