kmplayer is my main video/audio player and one of the best, but as others have already made known, the video slows down and audio is ahead of the video, so basically kmplayer can't play Blu-ray videos.
what have you tried that you know can?
**suppose to be blu-ray not hd oops!![]()

Commercial BD discs need a licensed player, but I assume you mean BD quality video. Some of the playback problems relate to the video card used. A video card with hardware acceleration will work much better than one without and use a lot less CPU resources. See DXVA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DirectX_Video_Acceleration
But for highly compressed formats like H.264 that is common with BD video, try Media Player Classic Home Cinema.
And welcome to our forums.Last edited by redwudz; 1st Jun 2011 at 12:12. Reason: Added 'Home Cinema' version to MPC

Computer specs and display card model or display chipset would be helpful.
Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

I use ... VLC media player ... MpcStar ... Media Player Classic - Home Cinema x64
I find the Sendto Folder and put shortcuts inside that folder and then it is easy to open a video file ... I just use the right click mouse and select the Sendto option and I have assorted choices to choose from.
I try ... always to use ... MpcStar ... because it is the only one that always ... to jump ahead or backwards ... using the arrow keys on the keyboard. -
splash works. thanks. it doesn't currently play .flv videos tho -- makes me kinda sad i uninstall kmplayer. im sure future versions will solve that~ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Rm2dance
