best Video creator/editor for youtube (lossless audio support)

what Iam after is to be able to author my own 720p videos for youtube but I want those videos to have lossless audio... I already have the lossless audio and would like to create a video with some simple images to upload to youtube (its all about the audio on this one) - in 720p YT compresses to 152k AAC (or 192k Vorbis on html5) - I want to upload the video with the lossless audio so they are compressing from that rather than another lossy source

I have been using Windows Live Movie Maker... BUT... it does not support lossless audio and take an absolute AGE to encode videos...

something that can take two images and display the first image for 10 seconds and 2nd image for remainder of video (or set time) and then mux the lossless audio into it

any ideas?

im finding Vegas a wee bit difficult

ive managed to insert audio track with my wav file and drag pictures to time line and stretched out - but when i RENDER AS it only exports the transition even between the two images? and thats 6 seconds of video in 88Mb in size?

is there anything as simple as Windows Live Movie Maker but has lossless audio support and encodes at real speeds

edit: you cant set the bitrates either, you can only choose an SD profile or an uncompressed HD file which isnt what I want, I need low bitrates on video file and lossless audio

edit: sorry, i just seen the custom option and i think ive sussed the yellow drag marker arrows - outputting Xvid 720p with PCM audio now

Try x264_VFW for encoding video.

mmm im not really after high quality video - just fast encoding, the video is only a still image so only needs low bitrate but must be 720p so i can have option of the lossless audio to be compressed into 152Kbps AAC (or 192Kbps Vorbis on html5) as opposed to 128Kbps AAC for 480p or 360p videos

thanks for your help, this VEGAS is spot on, much quicker and gets the result im after - just uploaded the video to youtube too and works a charm
