Has anyone tried the Tru-Silver CDRs for making VCDs? I was wondering if they were compatiple in DVD players than normal CDRs.
Tru-Silver discs are the ones that look like normal CDs. They are not the Silver/Silver discs.

Being that my DVD player works with CD-RW only I bought a spindle of tru-silver CD-R just to test. The result was: they did not play. I have a PanasonicRV20..

CD-R media that look to the naked eye like "real" CDs are not more compatible than any other type of media.
