    So I just got a Hauppauge HD PVR and I can't get the Xbox to show up, I've tried hooking up my direct tv receiver and the PVR worked fine. And the Xbox YPbP1 wires work fine in my TV but nothing when pluged into the PVR. Would love some help with this problem.

    The hdpvr can only record 1080i or lower - make sure you have your xbox set to 1080i or 720p before recording.

    Also make sure the hdtv slider is slid all the way over - it could possibly be loose and not fully locked into the "hdtv" position.

    The HD PVR is very picky about what it will record. The source must be 1080i at 29.97 fps or 720p at 59.94 fps (for HD). Many HDTVs will happily display a lot of other resolutions and frame rates.

    Uh oh, does this fall in to the "warez" category? Who cares.
