  1. Hello there, I don't know if this has been done before and if it has, Im extremely sorry but I tried to search my best for a good 10 minutes but to no avail could I find a solution. I'm a newb at this so please bear with me

I have a couple of VOB files that I could get by copy-pasting from Windows Explorer (it says Joliet something) from a DVD. I would now like to make this into a DVD-IFO so I can burn this and secondly, I would like to use this IFO to rip via DVDFab. I tried using IMGBurn to make it into an ISO but even though it converts to UDF, I can't rip it via DVDFab.

Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks

It seems you are trying to copy VOBs from copy protected DVDs. If so, use DVDFab Decrypter (Free) or AnyDVD (Commercial) and rip DVD to hard disk. I guess your DVDFab should be able to rip DVD to a DVD folder on Hard disk (i never used this tool) coz decription says DVDFab is plus featured.

If you already have VOBs on your Hard Disk...
Join all VOBs with a some tool like VobEdit and author DVD with a authoring tool like Simple DVD Creator (Without Menu) or AVStoDVD (with Menu) and finally burn authored DVD by using ImgBurn.

  3. Okay, after a few minutes, I managed to resolve it with DVDFab. Somehow, I forgot I could put the entire DVD folder and put it as a DVD-IFO. Sorry if I wasted time and thanks for your help, Bonie81 =)

Never mind coz its taken 4 granted that helping some one is always a waste of time!
Another true/hidden reason is most of the people know the answer before they ask!!!

Please read DVDFab guides here or on the net out of tons, or just read help [?] file manual particularly the one applying to what you wanna do.

    Search Comp PM
Mount the DVD structure (VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS) from a VOB or MPEG-2 file.
When you have only one VOB file or MPEG-2.

1º) tsMuxeR -> Use "Add" for the VOB first, and "Join" for the remainder -> and select "Demux" -> Start demuxing
If you only have a MPEG-2 file, also make the tsMuxeR demuxing before.
Will be extracted MPV and AC3 files.

2º) DVDAuthorGUI -> add title -> MPV video file -> AC3 audio file -> author DVD -> Name the new folder -> Save
You finished of reassemble the folders and files from DVD!
