I have a 40x DVD ROM from A-open and am using XP, I used to be able to rip DVD's at in about 15 min using SmartRipper, now it takes an hour and my DVD-Rom won't go faster than 1.5x. I checked and it is stuck in PIO mode, but I haven't changed anything just one day it went from DMA to PIO. I've read post that say I need an APSI layer, how do I check if I've got it or not.
Thanks

Very important for instalation of ASPI on XP is to use the " install.bat xp32 " command minus the quotes. This will make sure only the XP compatible 4.7 version files are installed. Dont use the ASPI installer.
