    Howdy all....
    I've got a few questions.

I'm using Adobe Encore CS4 to authour 8.2gigs to an ISO file.
I've got auto layer break checked..

The ISO gets saved out, but i'm a bit skeptical with ImgBurn options.
If i'm looking to change the Book Type, then the LG tab keeps reverting back to default..

    I'm running Win7 64 bit
    ImgBurn 2.5.5.0
    An LG burner (HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH22NP21 1.00 (ATA)
Using Verbatim DVD +DR DL (MKM-003-00)

    Question:
Should i even bother doing this??
With newer drives and media, is this still an issue?
Why does ImgBurn suggest a layer break, when that info. should be located in Encore's ISO file?
Does this mean i'm creating a new layer break?

    Any help would be appreciatedl
    Thanks..

  2. I'm not familiar with Adobe Encore, but I believe you should author the disc without a layer break then let imgburn determine where the layer break should be.

    Ditto.

And if i remember correctly, ImgBurn only changes the booktype for that burn or until you restart ?

But i have had drives that were in the list and the built in function did not work so i just always mod my drives firmware and reflash them so it is permanent.
