So I have settled on a Blu-Ray conversion method that uses MakeMKV, MKV Cleaver, BDSup2sub, MKV Merge, and Handbrake. I was using mp4 as my format of choice as WMC7 reads it just fine and I plan on adding an XBOX 360 as extender in the near future. Having said that, I really like having AC3 and DTS tracks available and am itching to revert to M2TS to do it. I want to keep things codec free aside from ac3filter because I am doing ota broadcasts and don't want to have to even think about conflicts. So I have tried using TSMuxer to convert the resultant MKV to M2TS but I get frame rates that are about double. The handbrake'd mkv shows 23.976 in MediaInfo but TSMuxer shows 90000 so I manually switch the frame rate to 240000/1001. If I leave it at 90000 I get:
'error code -2. Reading buffer overflow. Possible container streams are not syncronized. Please, verify stream fps.'

Should I be posting logs or am I missing something so simple you question my ability to breathe?

Is this a mkv created with makemkv?

You could try another mkv to avchd/m2ts like reebox.net or https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/all-in-one-mkv-to-mp4-avchd-ts . Even though most are based tsmuxer.

Yes, originally created with makemkv and compressed with Handbrake also into mkv. Tried rebox but won't keep DTS in TS or AVCHD. Multiavchd doesn't seem to like the aspect ratio. Well, I'm not sure if it doesn't like it as I haven't given the program as much attention as I could, but nevertheless I get a warning during the muxing that the aspect ratio isn't supported. Maybe this is my problem? . My framerate of 47.952047 is exactly double the native 23.976 and I can't think of anything else that might be the cause. Think I'll run it through Handbrake tonight and keep 1920*1080 and see what happens with tsmuxer then.

Anyway, here's the log from my latest tsmuxer attempt :

    SmartLabs tsMuxeR. Version 1.10.6 http://www.smlabs.net
    Decoding H264 stream (track 1): Profile: High@4.0 Resolution: 1920:1072p Frame rate: 90000
    Change H264 level from 4 to 4.1
H.264 manual setted fps not equal stream fps. Change H.264 fps from 90000 to 23.976
H264 bitstream changed: insert nal unit delimiters
H264 bitstream changed: insert pict timing and buffering period SEI units
    Decoding AC3 stream (track 2): Bitrate: 640Kbps Sample Rate: 48KHz Channels: 6
B-pyramid level 1 detected. Shift DTS to 2 frames
H264 bitstream changed: insert SPS/PPS units

This time I tried removing DTS, changing profile from 4 to 4.1 and manually adjusting fps from 90000 to 24000/1001.
