  1. I used my DVDFAB program to rip a DVD to my HDD in the first place and now I want to burn it to a blank disc. Currently, I'm testing out the "Write Data" option but that doesn't seem right to me. What's the correct way of doing this so that my end result is a disc that plays like a DVD?

    Just use ImgBurn.

Oh, and don't worry about the Audio_TS file, there's nothing in it. The Video_TS file is all you need.

If that's a commercial disc, it's probably larger than will fit on a single layer DVD. If so, you can eliminate the extras and it might fit. Or use a dual layer disc, or use something like DVD Shrink to make the file smaller. But I would also recommend ImgBurn.

To author a DVD from ripped content on your hard drive, you select the 'Write Data' option from the menu on the left hand side. Depending on the version of DVD-fab you have, it may be under the 'More...' tab. If you only have the freeware ripping version, this facility may not be enabled.

If you select 'DVD-5' for the quality when ripping it'll automatically shrink the ripped files on the fly so they can be authored to a normal 4.7Gb blank DVD. If you haven't done this you'll need to compress it with DVD Shrink or similar before authoring.

    FYI, that's not authoring.
