I was downloading something from a website the other day and they slipped in a few things that I was not told about or did not agree to download. they added 3 other things, click potato, BlinksBeat, and MP3 tube bar for my browser. I tried using CCleaner to remove them but they are still there. In CCleaner, they are not listed on the software list to be removed but they are still around BUGGING THE CRAP out of me. Antispyware and Antivirus software have been run.
what can I use to get rid of these?

Run all 3:
Superantispyware
Adaware
Malwarebytes Anti-malware
If it's still there, the adaware forums would like to look at it and will have further instructions for you -
Try looking in Control Panel - Add Remove/Programs, you may be able to uninstall from there. Lavasoft AdAware is very good at removing this type of nuisance. Malwarebytes is also another possibility, make sure you get it from Malwarebytes.org
Good luckIt's not important the problem be solved, only that the blame for the mistake is assigned correctly -
Revo Uninstaller Pro is free and gets all installed program files out

If you've been doing critical updates you may already have the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (MRT) already installed. From the Start - Run box type MRT. If you don't have it see here ...

Then do a full scan.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

CCleaner used before original post. they were removed from list of installed programs but that was all. they were still active. I have since tried control panel add and remove programs but again, not listed in installed programs. moving on to other software listed above.

Add RKill to the list of great tools suggested.

I had a nasty spyware infection a couple of months ago (sorry, can't remember the name) and I finally got rid of it by running RKill in safemode, then Malwarebytes and MS Security Essentials. I'm pretty experienced with spyware removal, but it appears that this attached itself to IE somehow and would always load up, even in safemode.
If RKill fails to fix the problem, you might want to try a Live Linux BootCD and run an Antivirus check from there. Been a while since I've had to do that, but instructions are pretty easy to find through google.
Good luck and report your (hopeful) SUCCESS! -
You also have Combofix for the really tough stuff, but use it as a last resort.
