  1. hi!

in advance i'd like to say sorry if i make any mistakes...

    i have the following problem:

when i rip a dvd to my hd (using dvd shrink) i often get the error that the video has no correct time/length (e.g. the movie is app. 2h long but the player or windows says it's only 35mins long or even 0min)...

to correct this error i do the following:

-demux the vob file using vob edit (or pvastrumento)
-remux the *.m2v and *.ac3 files back to a *.vob file using imago mpeg muxer

in most cases that will do the trick and the player/windows will display the correct time for the video. but in some cases that doesn't work because i either:

-get an vob with out of sync audio
-i cant mux *.dts files or subtitle files

so my question is the following, is there a program that can mux *.sub and *.dts files into vob's? or is there an even better way to accomplish what i'm trying to do?

i hope anyone is willing to help me and sorry again for my bad english...

    best regards

    1. Rip with something newer like dvdfab decrypter. Then shrink with dvdshrink. That should probably solve your sync problems.

    2. And if you are demuxing and muxing then use pgcdemux to demux and muxman to make a dvd(vob).

  3. thank you for your reply!

i will try that combination to de- and remux! and for future rips i will use dvd fab but i have like 40 vob's here on hd that need to be 'corrected'...
i never used to dvd shrink to actually shrink the dvds but because i think its convenient to use, but it has it's downsides i suppose...

    update:

    nevermind running now...
