Hi guys, I hope you can help me with this. I recently recovered about 30 AVI files from an accidentally formatted SD card, recorded using a Panasonic HMC 81 camera in DV mode, and about 20 MTS files (same camera but in HD mode, AVCHD format) from same card. All recovered at the same time.
The issue is that while all MTS files are playable and fully OK, all AVI files seem to be corrupted. The weirdest thing is that all AVI files have 30 frames which play OK, and from frame 31 to the end, they become blocky, pixelated.. a multicoloured mess (and audio also).
My best guess was some codec problem, but I tried playing in multiple professional studio PCs with diferent sets of codecs and all outputs are the same.
My other guess was a recovery problem, but how do I explain all the other files recovered fine, and furthermore, they play OK until frame 30 and then get screwed?

Here's a screenshot of what happens in all 30 AVI files:

    Any help greatly appreciated
