This is my first post and hope I'm posting this in the right place.
Here what I'm wanting to do. I want to copy a video off of you tube and take away the sound of that video and add my own sound trac that you sing with and burn it to a DVD. What is the best way to to this and what programs do I need.
Thanks

There are multiple ways of accomplishing that. In my case I would use Sony Movie Studio to replace the audio and convert it. If you list what programs you have it may be more helpful in advising you.
-
Also beware that many YouTube videos are not even close to DVD quality. Your finished product will most likely look like complete garbage.

Thanks, I did my first video's, did 4 of them so far, and now how can I burn all of these to a DVD to play on any TV or any DVD player. And is there a format I need to save these to. Thanks again for your help.

That's why I suggested avs2dvd to create a dvd image and imgburn to burn it to DVD (a method I have read about in the past). Did your Vegas demo come with DVD Architect? If so if you could make use of that.

Yes I have DVD architect..I have my videos in Vegas pro. Now how do I get these to DVD architect and burn these. I have never use either one of these programs till a today. Sory I'm asking a lot of question. You have help me a lot. Thanks again

To do this as simple as possible. Once you have rendered your videos load dvd architect. You import them into the program "insert"-->"Media" once you have your menu arranged click "make dvd" You are welcome for the help, one day it will be for you to help others. Aren't fourms great?

I'm stuck again....I opened DVD architect and opened new file and go to folder to where my video is and click make Video/music and nothing happens. There No files there. So I opened new again and select opened new file and selected single movie and my file was there. So I selected it and Mpeg 2 and I'm getting this message "the selected file is not Of the required type."

As you said you're a noob I am currently rendering a short tutorial on converting. I'll upload to youtube when finished. Something is wrong, and it's probably there. If this turns out not to be the case, I'll load DVD arch on my new PC and make a complete tutorial. I hope you enjoy my english =)

Thanks Lowell...I was aple to render about 5 video.... I still don't understadDVD architect. Do I burn these with DVD arch...Thanks
-
1) Double left click on on the text "menu 1" so that it is selected, the right click on it and choose "edit text" from the drop down menu renaming it anything you want.
2) From the menu on the top "insert" then choose "media" navigate to the folder where your rendered mpg files are and choose the one(s) you wish to use. Move them around until you are happy with where they are.
3) From the menu on top choose "make DVD"
If you are still confused I'll need to make another tutorial. -
Thanks, You have been great. And thanks for the tutorial. It came in very helpful.Everything you said is right on. I'll burn a DVD tomorrow and get back and let you know how I did.
Now will this DVD I burn can I play it in any DVD player? Thanks Again.
