    Search Comp PM
What does Device Manager say about the LAN device?

You should be able to get an 8 digit number of the PnP device and then do a search for the vendor. Then go to the vendor's site and download the proper drivers.

  4. That is a firewire port not an actual LAN.

If there is really an onboard LAN, then yes the NFORCE driver package will usually contain the driver for it.

  6. I hope you got it sorted out. I've had numerous issues in the past with LAN drivers on NFORCE4 boards. I thought it was just my bad luck but maybe it's just the way they are written.
