I got a clip from a friend today which she said she exported from Final Cut Pro in QT format. I've no experience of the program whatsoever but looking at the clip with mediainfo it seemed to just be NTSC DV video in a QT container. So I looked up how to import that with AviSnyth to frameserve into an MPEG2 encoder and found QTInput. So I get that plugin, load the file up and encode it with CCE. Nothing else in the script, just "QTInput("E:\video.mov", audio=0)" and then settings adjusted to suit in CCE.

There are a couple of problems with the output though, first of all there are occasional breakups in the interlacing and most players seem to think the output video is about 3:11 rather than the input of 4:08. So I have a feeling I need to add something to my script to properly deal with the interlacing, but what would you suggest?

I found a few things online like Convolution3D but that only works with YV12 input, this video is YUV. In fact here are the full details on the file:

Note the file does have audio but I'm not interested in encoding that, i'll just remove it from the stream and remux to the video output.

So what sort of script and settings should I be using for that?

    Thanks
