    How do I know if a movie (that I've download) is VCD or SVCD ?

    Search Comp PM
    Start up TMPGEnc and for the video select the mpg file. It will then tell you the video type on the bottom of the program window. It will say something like SVCD 480 x 480 ect. ect.
