No audio in MKV files when using MPC.

I'm using Shark007 Codecs and XVID on Win7. The video shows, just not the audio.
And strangely, with vob files, MPC only plays the video too...but MPC homecinema will only play the audio and not the video.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

Maybe you should use VLC. .


I use MPCHC without any codec packs and it works fine with dvd vob. It has builtin filters for such.

Ah, VCL worked. Though I'd still like to know why it didn't work on the other players...
