Hi
i have a DVI-HDMI cable for connecting my NVIDIA 9400GT to Samsung Syncmaster 2033 monitor. My graphics card has HDMI slot so i connect the HDMI plug to the graphics card and DVI to my monitor. I have 2 Audio slots, one in the front and another in the backside of the CPU. I want to know if i'm actually getting sound through HDMI. My computer shows two playback devices: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) set as default and Realtek digital output (High Definition Audio). Im a bit confused because both say "High Definition Audio" but say that i use a headset, are connecting it to the front panel and the rear panel the same? will both provide the same sound and will it be through HDMI? Or is there something i have to do to "set" the audio through HDMI?
The sound quality is perfect as such. but i just wanted to know if HDMI sound is possible in my computer.

Moving you to our computer section. This is not dvb related.
You can get audio through HDMI but you will lose it if you use HDMI to DVI.
