Hello all!

I state that I tried everything in my knowledge before posting this.

I have AVCHDCoder and I want to encode AVCHD (BD5) disc from .mkv file with .srt file. Result what I get is normal BD-structure, everything looks as it supposed to be. When I open .m2ts file in /bdmw/stream/ with mediainfo I everything still seems to be normal and subtitles says "Finnish, PGS". Ok, now when I open the movie, with vlc, with splash pro, with totalmedia theatre 3 I see picture, I hear sound but I just cant see any subtitles, not even flashing (flashing is known bug in vlc with bdpgs subtitle streams). There is a stream but it's not visible.

This happened now 2nd time today. First time it happened with .mkv file that were 25.000fps, I encoded it to 23.976fps and tried again, no change. Now it happened to other .mkv file that is originally 23.976fps. It's there, but it's just not showing with anything. It didnt matter if srt file was muxed in or on "outside" as a file.

AVCHDCoder is bitchy about subtitles, it wont accept .sub or .srt if .srt is in UTF-8/Unicode format. Has to be ANSI-formatted. So I have made everything straight that everything should work. I have rebuild .mkv also stripping everything extra (subtitles, other audios I dont want, etc) to make sure everything is ok.

This seems to be very rare problem as it only happened twice now from many projects, all others plays fine with subtitles. Im just out of clue what to do next. I consider myself as pro when it comes to AVCHD, but I know here is still many even more pro than I am, so I wanted to give this a try here to find a solution.

Thanks in advance!
