BDRebuilder has worked so well for me that I have had no reason to try anything different.

Little out of topic but I hope this doesnt mind. When I started with avchd stuff bit over year ago I started with multiavchd. It was "slow" and did not have queue option. Next thing I tried was bdrebuilder. It had queue and most options I needed. Althought I didnt like the subtitles it produced by default so I did a bit more research. When I came across to avchdcoder I found out it produces better quality than bdrebuilder did, subtitles were also "better" looking without HQ-subtitle encoding. Not sure about technical specs of avchdcoder and even they all use x264 encoder there must be some filter differences cause I tried with 2 projects and got better quality on boht (viewable with eyes) with avchdcoder.
These days I use only that, with slow option I can encode 1080p video with 4000kbps and it looks exactly the same as 7000-8000kbps kbps does that has been encoded with multiavchd/bdrebuilder. It takes 4-6 hours to do it tho, but I think it's worthy -
Assuming the same settings, no real difference, since they all use the same "toolkit". The presets are different, however, and are a matter of the developer's judgment. It's always a compromise between encoding time and quality, although at the higher quality settings you get diminishing returns and vastly increased encoding time.
I've used them all and prefer BDRB. With BDRebuilder, you can add AVS filters if you want. I don't recall if the others (RipBot, AVCHDCoder) by default use any filters, but I suspect not.
BDRB is flexible as to output container, encoding speed and size, and I prefer the sensibly laid-out GUI. Try them and decide for yourself.Pull! Bang! Darn!
