I am trying to de/remux the Lord of the Ring SVCDs so I can play it on my friend's Panaonic RV31 DVD player.. Since the player requires SVCD to have a VCD header..
So I copied all 4 disc's mpeg2 file onto my hard dirve.. But every time I try to load any of the file into TMPGEnc for remux, it will give me the error of "invalid MPEG stream".. Just wondering why is it giving me that error?? I tried to use BBMPEG as well, but it gives me the same kind of error.. I don't think the Mpeg 2 file is corrupt since it plays fine on my hollywood plus card on my computer and on my apex dvd player..
I am running WinXP, Athlon 1.4, 256DDR ram.. any help will be appriciated thanks..

OK, the files will work with DVD2avi, so I ued it to get the audio file out, but I still can't use either BBM or TMPGEnc to de-multiplex it to seperate the video file since it still won't let me load the file.. any idea??

You don't have to load the MPEG file into the "main" encoder window in order to REMUX.
Load TMPGenc, leave the main window along, and just goto MPEG tools.
You'll need to DEMUX and then reMUX.
