I never had a camcorder and I decided to buy one. I have two options regarding price and some features:
Canon HF M32 - $600 and JVC GZ-HM 670BU - $550. Now, looking on specs JVC is better or looks for me better. Canon has bigger memory(double) and is Canon which for me sounds better than JVC for kind of basic HD camcorders. Can anyone help me make a decision?

I did after you told me. I didn't find anything about JVC. About Canon I red reviews and people are happy. But I understand it strugles with HD and low light. And has a pretty small optical zoom 15x. Life batteries is almost the same: short.
    Thank you.

    449 dollars now.

    Optical zoom is 40X.

I like JVCs, but they traditionally had poor low light performance - it looks like this one may have that fixed.

  5. There are a lot of digital cameras that do HD video. Some have 30x optical zooms or better.

No, I didn't. I was attracted by JVC's spec. But I checked the zoom in store and it disappointed me. Over 32-33 out of 40 the image is blury. So good bye JVC. Now I wait for a new sale for Canon or Sony. I am not in big rush.
Thank you for all the tips I got
