    Does anyone know a fix for my problem? I took some video footage with my Olympus camera, and when i went to edit it using virtualdub, the software crashes. Any suggestions on how to load this video into virtualdub? Is there a plug-in for olympus cameras, or anything like that?

    hi. Gspot says the codec is Mjpeg. It's the same as Mpeg, right? I take it virtualdub has a plugin for this? Got any suggestions?

    I use Avidemux for mjpeg files from my Canon portable.

    I fixed things by just installing ffdshow plugin. The video loads in fine now. Thanks for your help!
