Maybe I haven't explored this great site fully yet - it's easy to get lost in all the info here BUT is there a table here with some sort of guide for conversion to give an idea of what might be suitable for what you want to do.
Something like whats the best tmpgenc setting for making
a single 60 minute vcd
a 2 disk 60 minute vcd
a single 90 minute vcd
a 2 disk 90 minute vcd
opiton for 74 & 80 minute cds
It's so easy to get 'blown away' by some fantastic encoding sample you do only to find that it's going to take 4 cds to write 90 minutes. I know there are tools to make these estimations but it sure would be great to see at a glance what does what.
I'm still trying to figure out why we have been blessed by the presence on earth of the authors of Tmpgenc and VirtualDub.
