  1. When I use DVD2AVI, and then TMPGEnc, the video and audio are not in sync. The audio is like a 4-5 seconds behind the video. Is there a way to correct this?

  2. Hey Devious,
How are you capturing your videos? Are you using MMC 7.1 ? IF so maybe I can help you. I had this sync problem for some time until I moved to MMC 7.5 (ATI AIW Radeon) and the problem is gone!
    Good luck!
    Marcos.

  4. Devious, how are you verifying that the audio/video is out of sync?

Are you playing the .mpg in Windows Media Player (WMP) or
    some other MPEG playback software?

I have had this problem many of times. I found that you should start the DVD2AVI program where there is both audio and video at the same time. ie. right when the movie starts, right when the intro from the studios starts. Sometimes (but not to often) you will have to start it at the beginning of the movie, after all the studio intros. Never start at a blank screen.
