Okay. i reinstalled nero and now when i take a 620MB (42min) Mpeg-1 file and drag and drop, Nero tells me I'm trying to burn a 773MB file at 84 mins?? what gives, anyone have this problem before. I can't even begin to guess whats happening here. I reinstalled again and yet still the same twisted results????

  2. Try this: Launch TMPGEnc, go FILE...MPEG Tools...Merge and Cut...Select Type "MPEG1 VideoCD (non-standard) Go Add...add the file...select the output file name and don't change anything else(defaults the whole clip). Hit Run then when done try to load the resulting file into Nero with non-standard VCD option selected. It seems Nero needs the find the appropriate info in the MPEG-1 to correctly recognize the size. No guarantees with your particular file but worth a shot.

As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
