Is there any way to encoding VFR using Megui?
And if yes what the AVS script I should use?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Not directly - because avisynth is CFR only, and megui uses avisynth
So you could use it to encode your CFR video, then mux in timecodes after
x264.exe doesn't need anything anymore. It has everything patched in (some builds even have audio, filtering (like resize & crop) ). You can use it directly to encode VFR -
yes, but I don't think you can mux in timecodes with megui, you would need mkvtoolnix separately
-
Yes I will use mkvtoolnix, if I have an episode something.mkv, how to know if it is VFR or not
I try with media info and it does not show the frame rate type -
mediainfo might not be correct (it just reads header information)
If the source was VFR , and the final is in sync, then it's VFR for sure
If it's out of sync, it's still CFR and you messed up somewhere
The only way to be sure is to look at the timecodes (for source or export) -
directshowsource is the last resort ; it is not necessarily frame accurate, and inconsistent (depends on system installed codecs and filters)
ffvideosource("video.mp4")
if you have other filters (maybe clean up video) then add them -
If I want to encode anime episode and the output will be HD, what the size I should use? and how to know the best size?

I mean the output size
size as in dimensions e.g. 1280x720, =)
size in megabytes, 250 MB, 300 MB or what?
I mean the output size in megabytes -
filesize = bitrate x running time
megui has a bitrate calculator in the tools menu
choose whatever you want . Higher bitrate = higher quality, if everything else is constant
If you don't know what to choose, use CRF encoding or "constant quality" encoding. Lower CRF values give higher quality and larger filesize . Most people use around CRF16-22 as a starting point
