I am trying to embed some youtube video into a DVD I am authoring. I downloaded the flv file, converted it to avi, it plays fine both audio and video, but when I try to embed the avi file into Vegas 9 it will only insert the audio track. Any suggestions will be deeply appreciated.![]()

Youtube flv files are normally H264 video with AAC audio. Have you tried using FLVExtract to demux the streams, then My_MP4Box GUI to remux into an MP4 container, and import that into Vegas? No need for a conversion stage before importing then.
This usually works fine in Vegas 10. Not certain about Vegas 9.Last edited by Munster1; 18th Apr 2011 at 14:33.
