    Does Wax not support importing mpg files? I haven't been able to find a way to capture my DV camcorder footage into Wax either. I captured the video using PowerDirector 9 and have it on my drive as an mpg file but cannot find a way to import it into Wax. Seems it only supports avi files. Am I missing something?

    I don't think it can read mpg files.
    But it can read Avisynth scripts, so if you know how to use Avisynth, you can import almost any file that way.

    Or recapture your DV tape as DV-AVI.
