  1. I came here with this issue that I've read can be fixed by saving your preferences as default:

    AVStoDVD inexplicably reverts to PAL even after setting DVD standard in preferences to NTSC (and proceeds to burn a PAL DVD).

    Even though I save my preferences...save the project and try and get it to go with NTSC, it refuses. I'm running 2.3.4 on a Windows XP Pro machine.

    Any advice?

    "Options", "Preferences", "video", Select NTSC D1 (or your choice); select box "save current preferences as default" after you've set your choices. This should apply when you start your next project.

    I had to find it myself - I only started with the program today, just downloaded and installed. Mine was defaulted to PAL as well.
