    Hi.

    I have MPEG Video Wizard 4.0 and want to install some codec through which I can playback files with .avi extension.

    Currently, I have installed ffdshow and although it works for .mp4, for .avi I can only hear sound and no video.

    Check the codec in the video using Media info.

    But why even try to use this program ?. That is not its purpose. Just use a standard player such as VLC to play your movie files.

    Ok. Thanks. Its just because I like the nice controls of that prog and its very easy to use.

    Will download both VLC and Mediainfo and check them out.
