smplayer slow down

Hi, can someone help me on this?

So lately, some mkv files freezes frames on the player but I'm not sure why. I turned on loop filter and it works BUT the problem starts here, the video starts to slow and forces to read all the frames but its no longer in sync with audio and subtitles. Whenever I tried turning on frame skip, it goes back to freezing frames again (Isn't supposed to drop those frame instead?) I used frame skips for some lighter videos though and no problem here (loop filer off though)

So for now I use VLC with loop filter on and goes fine BUT this one distorts frames which happens a lot. Though the video and audio syncs? I don't know much about the settings on this player and I prefer smplayer for some reasons

Oh and in MPUI, there's only a white screen, no video at all :/

Anyways did my explanation make any sense? Sorry I'm terrible in explaining stuff

Tried latest smplayer beta?

I use mpchc. Never had any problems with any mkv.
